Wine estate Vino Gaube is located next to the Austrian border and only 40-minute drive from Graz or 20-minute drive from Maribor. Above us is the heart-shaped road between the vineyards.
They process 9 hectares of vineyards planted predominantly with white varieties. In 1997, they planted Pinot noir and so in their range include red wine. They are mostly known as producers of fresh, fruity wines, where the varietal characteristics of each wine can express nicely. Every grape is unique, a miracle and a gift of nature. Brings with it varietal and its own character.
With maturing and care of the wines in the cellar, they want as much of this to stay in the wine.
The history of vine growing dates back for at least five generations, the author of this noble mission, however, was Kaspar GAUBE, which already built the wine cellar in 1895. In the years 1901 – 1904 he received the first awards for a wine, which are still well preserved. And he is the one that marked their new line of wines with the name of Kaspar.
